You just don't get it jackass. Blues isn't something you can just wake up one day and play. You act like he just decided one day to play blues as a marketing ploy. To be as good as he is you have to dedicate yourself for years which is what he's done. And as far as him ripping of B.B. or one of the other greats, it's to be expected. Blues can't be played in a vaccuum. Nobody is bigger then the blues. You don't mold the blues, the blues molds you. It's a bit metaphysical but that's they way it is

Yeah, Check out John Mayall, Bluesbreakers, "Walking on Sunset and then check his other songs, you will see where John Mayer stole the style from the 70's...It was a calculated move to be different then everyone today and be like musicians from the past, it makes the people in their 20's think you are original...BB King, I bet is one of his all time IDOLS!!!
