I can safeley say I have floated past the place where Handel composed all his 'water' pieces in Derbyshire. It was a small conservatory built in the 1700's. Me and my friend and his dad used to blow up a dinghy we bought from a car boot; and sail on down the river. Fucking fantastic.

maybe he thinks it is part of handel's royal fireworks? sometimes even i confuse the two pieces

the one thing that germany does reign supreme is in producing the greatest music ever written...specifically, written in the 1700s

mozart is an anomoly. he was the best, in a totally different category. but other than him, the greatest music ever written is baroque music: bach, handel, vivaldi, purcell, pachelbel, etc

It's a part of the Water Music suites. Unless you know it to belong to a different musical work?

Yes, indeed, baroque music must be composed by God. It's makes you proud to be European.
