Most of my friends and relatives don't have a clue who I'm talking about when I tell them Cathy Dennis is one of my favorite artists. However, when I play them this song they all say "Oh, now I remember her."

This question pops up a lot. On the 12" single I have, the vocalist is listed as Dancin' Danny D (born Daniel Kojo Poku) who effectively was D-Mob. However, when he sings on other tracks, he sounds nothing like this background vocal. I'm still not convinced it is Danny and lean towards the Rick Astley rumor, too.
