there are some things archeologists don't want to risk their reputation for. There is a lake adjacent to the ocean in Japan, with huge megaliths at the bottom of it. The reason why no1 will investigate it is b/c it will cost too much money, historically the ocean was only low enough to build something on that sea level during the ice age (no culture capable than), and if the expedition fails (maybe because of money, lack of resources, or answers) the archeologists' rep. is ruined, carrer=dead
