I'm a Bruins fan and I've believed the whole time that it was just a really bad coincidence...Jones obviously meant to deliver a hit but I don't think he was counting on Patrice stopping a couple feet away from the boards and in the position that he did. I don't think Jones had to hit him but the circumstances just made it that much worse. Shitty as it was without Bergeron last year, he'll be back in 08-09 and Boston should have a bit better shot in the playoffs with him :D
