I lived in Westby (Coulee region) for a time and am a quarter Norge. Does that count? Tiny trout streams around with tiny trout in them, but then e got to discuss the differences between ridge people and valley people without insulting someone. Anyway, hands down, this is a (both are) great movie, but I would argew that Everything in Lutheran Land is as fictional as Rose's St. Olaf stories, but as funny as Westby's "Olie" stories!

For your information, the setting for this movie is Wabasha, MN. Wabasha is NOT a fictional place, as my mother grew up in the real Wabasha. It is located halfway between St. Paul, MN and LaCrosse, WI on US-61. If you ever have the chance, its a beautiful town to visit. Check it out sometime!
