not saying it's not his fault. we all have freedom of choice and we all have consequences of those choices. it's too late for him to learn anything about his mistake(s) now(if he would've). sad or angry,it's tragic none the less. maybe a commitment to a good set of morals like the 10 commandments,new testament,might have kept him out of trouble("submit to authority" wouldn't have been a bad place to start),but it's all too late now..

Twotetah: I battle with myself as to weather you are right about us feeling sorry for him. Or weather it is HIS fault and that we should be angry for it. Such an internal battle it is.

you're right.what goes around comes around,reap what you sow,ect. He should have been thinking of providing for those dependent on him. seems he was mastered by his own self centered choices,instead of looking at the possible consequences. now his family will feel the effects for years and years.A son growing up w/out a father,a sad thing...

Twoteh: Yeah. Ryan wasn't a kid though. He was a adult with a child who was expected to behave just like the rest of us. He got what was coming to him.
