Disco 2s are suffering major problem with the electrics (lucas), and I dare to say that I don't trust em.
I love the disco2 though, nearly bought one one year ago.

they are somehow capable but in reality if you want a true offroader get a nissan or a Toyota

Im so sick of hearing the Land Rover breaking down sob stories. Fact is if you treat you car like crap its called abuse and you will break any 4WD. I have a Disco 1 and I have maintained it and cared for it. Anywhere it cant go aint worth goin. Im not going to use it as a bulldozer to prove its just as good as a Toyota. My truck has NEVER had a day off.

well, dont you have to do that with all vehicles? jeeps with 5+ inch lifts? new rear axles, engines, then they're incredible offroad machines? what about trucks? lift em and put new tires on them too. the thing about land rovers that sets them out from the pack is their technology. the electronics is so advanced, where as others may just rely on suspension or axles or transmissions, drivers can just sit back and worry less. |
