why does mickey have to be so evil?...i think he needs some midol...i love the way pluto laughs.....pluto is my favorite character ever...from disney cartoons.

During the later cartoons, Mickey was turned into a cranky staightman like Porky pig in the 1950s. That's why Mickey is so mean to Pluto on these 1940s 1950s cartoons.

The film is from 1941, so Mickey has under gone a design change. The design change was the result that by the time this short came out, Donald Duck had surpased Mickey in terms of popularity.

Believe it or not it's mine too.
Also notice how Mickey's ears were attempted to be given dimension. It doesn't really work.
