You should see the one he does with Travis Tritt (Move it on over)...You see George work the slide well o that one blew me away...Oh yeah by the way it looks easier than to play slide on open G tuning...

*shrugs* i still think he just ripped off John Lee Hooker, in style and a few songs, and distorted it. as a white fellow he got more publicity for the good old blues songs, but i do admit, i like his voice.

it's supposed to sound sloppy and easy. they're not known as "the world's greatest bar band" for no reason. i mean seriously, think about it: how stupid would it sound to sing about drinking, drinking, drinking, old lady troubles, and other life troubles while playing with a perfectly steady hand and not getting wild with it?
