i wish a camera that didnt cost 50 grand could do 1200 fps in full hd.. i hate how the slower you go the shittier the quality is.. its almost pointless
philipberne (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Yes, I'm sure that was 1200 fps, as I said in a previous comment. YouTube might have blown up the video a bit, but I'm positive about the frame rate. But don't take my word for it. Buy some firecrackers and take that camera out for a proper spin! Have fun.
polarblair2000 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Are you sure that was at 1200 fps, looks like 300, when it is at 1200 the resolution is cut down to 336x96 that looks like 600 fps to me.
Anyway it was still pretty cool, I have the same camera, its really good!
philipberne (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Yup. Filmed with the Casio F1, which has 3 slow-mo speeds. 300, 600 and 1200. At slower speeds, the explosion and firecracker flying off screen aren't visible. To get the full explosion, though, you'll need a much faster camera.
magleman (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
i don't think that was filmed in 1200 fps...
