Just something I noticed as a fan of this film...D'artangan and Aramis are the only musketeers who draw blood from their foes.

I do not agree: this Porthos is so .. small! Porthos is supposed to be tall, and fat, and Athos is blonde.
So the best musketeers are : Chris O'Donnel, Kiefer Sutherland, Oliver reed and Charlie Sheen.
Well, in fanct, I can't decide between Charlie Sheen and Richard Chamberlain.

Totally agree, this movie is so realistic, the settings are always dirty and filthy, as they probably were at that time, unlike all those crappy musketeer and swashbuckling movies where sworsmen appear in shiny outfits.

This is probably the best film sword fight scene I've ever seen: slapstick, a distinct lack of seriousness, a great environment and excellent choreography all came together here.

noone can be ever better then Boyarsky as D'Artagnan. LoL
even tho he can't do all cool looking tricks as Justin Chambers. Imagine he could though. nah jk)

Michael York, Richard Chamberlin, Oliver Reed & Frank Finlay are the best Musketeers.

HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN JAMES BOND after Connery retired he had that dangerous carisma and powerful build that makes a great bond. Reed is One of the best english actors ever imo even in a Pssuedo comedy like three musketeers his acting talent is amazing.
