Anyway, it's probably the only amateur "documentary" that I've seen in a very long time. It's good to see that the guys at least ventured into this. I hope more of such stuff gets posted in youtube.

The documentary could have been done much better with a coherent flow of ideas, albeit expressed by different people. Statistical facts could have been explained a bit; how it's relevant to your argument (if you have an argument at all). Government has spent (and continues to spend) a certain amount money in "freebies". But is the money spent in 'mid day meal' the same as giving free colour TVs? Besides, is the term "freebie" really appropriate? After all, it's the tax payers money.

The claim that DMK won because of freebies is actually a myth. TN politics has long worked simply along the lines of alliance arithmetics. Take the last 3 decades, the winning coalition has always had congress. And lately it's true with PMK's presence. The voters who are naive enough, few as they seem to be, to go by the "promises" often neutralize each other. That is, both DMK and ADMK offered free stuff, few went one side and few went the other. A simple probability.

Good efforts!!! Well made documentary that would serve as an eye opener. More documentaries and people's videos must be encouraged. Kudos to the team that worked on this.
