I just read about that. It is insane. The US government is giving billions to Africa on behalf of an easily avoided STD, but the US government does nothing for this disease that attacks innocent individuals.

There is a vaccine, but they took it off the market. I was in the trial program. The doctors were getting sued by 3 people that complained

They're doing all kinds of testing of Lyme disease among others at Plum Island right off the coast of Connecticut. This could be good OR bad. Might be how they got it in the first place. :(
