Directors: Overture Date: 2007 The track was taken from Múm's latest LP "Go Go Smear The Posion Ivy" on Fatcat Records. Overture was born of Jason Malcolm Brown and Aya Yamasaki Brown in the final days of August, 2004. A focal point where their creative intertwined, Aya and Jason created an opera house where all the peoples of their worlds could perform and be entertained. As the opening to an opera, Overture stands to introduce and describe these worlds through their work, resting mainly in animation and improvised illustration. http://www.opertura.org/ http://www.myspace.com/mumtheb... http://www.fat-cat.co.uk

What is this? Seriously....I'm from the US and have no idea. Looks like a theme by Mum for a children's show of some kind. Kinda wierd, though. Might be alittle frightening to a child. Strange.

why must Múm's videos be so very odd? They make me confused and yet compelled at the same time. It's like a car wreck. You want to watch but you know you shouldn't be... lol.

It's because certain mind-altering substances are misunderstood out of ignorance. It all goes back to the death of Shamanism way back when the Catholic Spanish converted the Mezzo American cultures to Christianity and killed off the use of Psilocybe mushrooms. At least there are a few individuals out there that can embrace the altered states of the mind. :3
