This my favorite song of Tetsu's solo career to date. He might work on something else during Laruku's hiatus, like Ken is talking about doing another solo venture.

Yeah, but I guess that wasn't fair...nobody compares to wooten lol.

I've just seen Victor Wooten as you suggested, and in my opinion Victor Wooten is one of the most technically accomplished bassists of all time. I'm not sure if Tetsu is as technically amazing as Wooten, because from what I've seen he uses the bass to adorn L'Arc songs with melodic hooks and catchy grooves. Within the context of L'Arc~en~Ciel, he's an excellent bass player for the band, but I'm not sure how he measures as an individual bassist. Wooten, however, can certainly play on his own...

Lol, no I was comparing him to black people to show how good he is, you can type in victor wooten if you want, but yes he's bass playing is freakn awesome.
SystemJammer (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I'm sorry, I received this reply from you but in my earlier comment I never compared his bass playing to that of black people. And yes, I agree with you... his bass playing in BLURRY EYES is very prominent and ear-catching, not to mention in so many other groovy L'Arc songs like HONEY and LINK (just to name a few).

Eh, if I remember correctly tetsu did the bass for blury eyes, if I'm not mistaken, then he's skills on bass rival that of black people. |
