actually i am not wrong , it was not the Greeks who stereoptyped Macedonians as barbarians it was ONLY the Athenians and more precisly the provincialism of some of their hardcore rhetores like Demosthenes lead to this behaviour, he was constantly fighting against these Greeks from Macedonia he wanted Athenians in charge.Note that Athenians claimed also Spartans were uncivilised couse they had a different political system but when Persians came no matter what,all greek city states united in one

R3yma,sorry but you are incorrent. The Greeks stereotyped the Macedonians as "barbarians". Herodotus relates how the Macedonian king Alexander I(498-454 BC), a Philhellene (that is "a friend of the Greeks" and logically a non-Greek), wanted to take a part in the Olympic games. A Greek court decided that he indeed descended from Heracles, and thus could be considered a Greek and was allowed to enter. However, the Greek athletes protested, saying they would not run with a barbarian.

HAHAHA, everyone is pissed at the Makedonians because they aren't Greek. They are Slavs, and they live in a region that is known to the Greeks as Makedonia. I don't see a probably with the country being Makedonia. And cultures change, so the Slavs that live can be considered the "new Makedonians".
