well in all fairness i think if people wanna believe in ghosties,spirits and auras then why not santa claus or the toothfairie i've seen too many bad things happen to think there could be alot more to life

Well i believe there is life after death, not because i am afraid. But because it is unlogical to me to think that there is just darkness. . When the human mind is so complex. So not everyone who believes in life after death, is afraid of death.

The problem with society has always been that unless something is proven scientifically and accepted by all scientists then it becomes part of the human knowledge. So with something of this nature which has not been researched extensively it is natural for it to be rejected immediately (just look at the history of Science).

The static field emitted from clothes should be relatively constant. But the subtle energy emitted due to changes in emotions/thoughts which is chemical in nature, e.g. variations in sodium/potassium pump characteristics, would manifest itself both electrically (measurable at the skin level) and electromagnetically emitted beyond the surface level. Unfortunately, not much scientific research has been done in this area due to difficulties in measurements and interpretation/analysis of result.

well stunts1516 philosophy and science are two ends of the same pole. how do we know if there isn't life after death or that there is for that matter. in my opinion existence is to complex and to great for people to just exist and cease to exist. its not logical to me. you have to think to yourself sometimes whats the purpose of my existence how did the universe or existence come into being? theres a million questions i have that neither of us have the answer to so lets agree to disagree :)

yeah either that or people are just too afraid of death so they make up a fairy tale about living after death its not real anymore then the boogeyman or the toothfairie are
