VMA's 2008: Russell Brand Angers Robert Fangirls

Read after vewing: Of all the things happening in the world, this is what people choose to get upset about? Somthing that was really no one's fault? I respect Russell Brand, I respect Robert Pattinson. I do not have to be a fan of either to know that this whole flame war is nonsense. I mean no dissrespect to anyone unles they are an idiot fangirl who is making a way too big a deal out of this. The opening to this video was meant as a satire on girls who would throw themselves in front of a bullet for Robert but could care less about matters of importance. I'm not saying that people who are saying Russell was being rude are idiot fangirls who don't care about anything but Rob. That is their opinion and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I mean that the girls are raging and attacking Russell, insulting him and MTV, and especially the "poor Rob" criers are just being really stupid making such a big deal out of something so trivial. Not that they do not care about the world's current crises, but are certainly in no way painting a good image of themselves. I'm also not saying that by not liking Russell, they are automatically overboard. As I said, they're each entitled to their own opinion. If they don't like Russell because of his comedy or personality or whatever, its fine. This is not an attack on Pattinson, this is not an attack on Russell, and this is not an attack on fans who are able to have their opinions and not be in-your-face about it. This is an attack on fangirls who for some reason interpreting this as more of an injustice than Jesus being nailed to the cross. I claim no ownership over any of the clips used.
