I was a young man when this song came. my father a US Army Sergeant and I were having our moments. This song said what was going on in our world. my father died the year my son was born. I had a round with my son he is 18 as I was 18 when this came out. I was 40 when he was born. this is embodiment of father and son I married a woman of Islamic background Cat Stevens is a talented man Read The Prophet Kahlil Gibran . Am I Muslim NO,, Yusef Islam is his choice and he is an enlightened man.

i'd like to correct that. there is NO religion that is beheading in the name of its God. Islam does not promote that. nowhere does it say 'behead people and Allah will be happy' or anything of that sort. -to my accord, atleast.- Give me a source? ... People should stop mistaking CULTURE for religion. My opinon - everybody's just really really screwed nowadays.

sorry, what religion are you? just to make this more interesting? and yeah, totally. the muslims are the ONLY ones doing the beheading and what not. Of course we are. i'm not denying that 'muslims' behead people. but i've realised that people like you seem to like to look at the world in black and white - does it skim past you what the westeners are doing? surely, you must agree, that it is pure ignorance to state that it is muslims alone that are in the 'wrong'?

Don't try to twist the truth, kungfu,they were WESTERNERS,Daniel Pearl,etc,even a Japanese...sorry we have the videos to PROVE it, but heay!! whats wrong with a good healthy beheading?? ur prophet approved of it and did it himself!and happens every day all over the world BY MUSLIMS,the creative ones !yeah,creating death and despair,pain and misery in the name of Islam!(Google 3 Christian schoolgirls beheaded on way to school in Indonesia)
