Hey Mark:
Is it possible to just use a portion of a green screen? Let's say I have a wall with a hole in it and I hung the green screen behind the hole and took video of the whole wall (with the hole taking up about 50% od he whole shot. Could I then just superimpose over the "Green Hole"...or does the green screen need fill the entire frame? Confused?
Thanks,
Jim

Can anyone suggest some software for live keying?
markapsolon (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
You can key with a miniDV camera not HDV :) I do all my keying with a miniDV cam but I have use my DVCpro50 cam too. Its all in the software you use :)

I tried this before. My main problem is that I don't have access to a 4:2:2 camera, I all I can get a hold of is shitty miniDV and HDV cameras. Can I still key with a miniDV camera or is it just not worth trying?
