Good, very good.
You could use a bow like this one for almost any species in North America.
I bought it a year and a half ago for $369.

Thank you, and it is a lot of fun.
It adds the challenge of getting close enough which creates bonus adventure that you just don't get usually get with gun hunting.
Glad you liked the hunt!

Would you say that a bow like that would be worth buying for an everyday hunting basis? Hw much did it cost you?

All day is fine...I guess you could leave it longer...but it wouldn't be to safe to have it lyin around.
It doesn't hurt it to leave it loaded all day. It is actually the shots that take and give the wear on the limbs. You can't dry fire them or you will likely damage them if not destroy them. I watched a guy last year dry fire his bow, it was a Easton Compound Crossbow, and his arrow had slipped forward and he shot and it exploded the bow string...luckily his limbs were okay!

how long can a crossbow be cocked ready to shoot with out messing it up or if it even does?

Not a problem, and feel free to ask anytime.
I love hunting and have had lots of good experiences and great advice from others myself.
