CLICK for DOWNLOAD link: "ssj5trunks" has released v 1.0.0 iFonz software for Windows Mobile phones, his very popular interface for WM touchscreen devices. He develops .NET apps, and iFonz requires the installation of .NET compact framework on your HTC or Windows Mobile device prior to installing the ifonz .cab file. ======================= ========== *** UPDATE *** Monday July 28 My advice is to wait at least a week or so because many users at XDA ran into installation problems with this brand new version 1.0 ... My suggestion is to stick with running 0.9.9 until the developer solves these problems. Some people DID get it intalled and running, and reported it being faster. ====================== ============ (original post re downloading v 1.0 resumes below) ==================== ============= GET IT HERE: (download iFonz 1.0.0 ) at ITS ORIGINAL RELEASE SITE, XDA-DEVELOPERS.com, where this application is FREE. http://forum.xda-developers.co... or here: (goes to same location): http://tinyurl.com/6oa5ne Instructions for installation are in POST #1. ========================= ======== HIS BLOG: (Italian language) http://thedogcorner.blogspot.c... Please, if you like his software, donate to him there, on his blog. ======================= ========== THIS SOFTWARE IS FREE -- don't let anyone try to repackage and sell it to you. =================================== If anyone has ever tried to sell it to you, they are frauds. All sites that ALSO post this software are using THIS release at XDA-Developers site. XDA-Developers is the fantastic development community that built up in support of HTC touchscreen phone devices several years ago... And is now the preeminent source for all upgrades and new software developed for HTC devices that run on the Windows Mobile platform. =================== ================ IF YOU HAVE EVER downloaded this ALWAYS-FREE software, and it works well for you, consider donating to the creators of the software, or to the XDA Community at large. THEY are what make the web a global cooperative community -- always seeking to collaboratively push the boundaries further. XDA-Developers are from Germany, Italy, Russia, USA, all over the world. I can't praise them enough. ===================== ===============

also see: this guy who goes by the username "A_C" who develops fantastic slide/thumb/finger apps for windows mobile... and he too does it at XDA-DEVELOPERS -- the central place where touchscreen development takes place for that windows piece-o-s*** platform... but I'll bet you these same folks will develop similar apps for the new Google Android OS. His site with links to his apps -- all FREE as per the community spirit -- is AC-S2(dot)com

Windows in the flesh is so repugnant to use. Thankfully there are people who share the same opinion and have the know how to deal with the problem. I'm going to try this once I get my SEXperia X1

ifonz software can also be copied to your mobile pbone via USB connecton... and then the files that are copied to your phone need to be launched pon your phone... Then they SELF_INSTALL on your phone. Then you soft-reset your phone, and then you launch the ifonz application. The first time you just have to check off the setting that auto-launches ifonz whenever you turn on your phone launching windows mobile. Therefater it just works!

You need to go to the FORUM THREAD link listed in the video description in the right-column ---> ---> ---> In general: You need to downlaod the Microsoft (dot) net compact framework so9ftware.. all the link to software are provided to the right --->) and that gets installed by your PC connected to your phone via Active Sync connection. Then there is the ifonz software itself -- which is an application that was written in Microsoft(dot)net langauge.
