No, the Titanic sank because everyone thought it was indestructable but it hit a glacier nad because there wasn't enough hollow space to keep the ship afloat, it sank. It wouldn't have sank if they payed attention and built it properly.

the design wasn't flawed it was how they built it, they used a different kind of bolt in the middle of the ship that was of less quality which is why it cracked so easily. but yes it is unfortunate how it sank
