http://sogood.tv Heather Johnston, a popular food vlogger, demonstrates how to make a warm lobster roll while on vacation on the North Fork of Long Island. (The North Fork is a great American wine region like northern California.) Heather pairs the menu of lobster roll, summer corn, and farm fresh salad with a local Chardonnay. they don't feel pain so the lobster was probably just totally confused. I'm not too sure about the feelings thing. i think its just tough for some people to watch because we're one of the most intelligent life forms on the planet, so we see things differently. i think chickens have more feelings.

hey i was told of another way , freeze the lobster , then thawfreshest way i havent done this though so im unaware if its a good method what do you think i think it would like frogs come back alive

You have a good point. I'm hesitant to suggest that method because it is hard to execute and I'm concerned about people harming themselves. Still, lobsters are not the only creatures killed while cooking. What about clams?

ive been cooking for over 20 years and killing the sentient life form of whatever kind before cooking it is only humane i eat meat of all types<

you can pierce the brain of the lobster to kill it so it doesnt get boiled alive by cutting 1/2 an inch down from the eyes right through cutting the head off it doesnt have to come off though boiling anything that breathes is seriously not thought through fish shellfish animals of all kinds should be dispatched before cooking

Hi, I'm the cook in the video. It is important to be humane, if only for ourselves. Many studies report lobsters don't have the nervous system to feel pain, but all creatures, even mollusks react when threatened. Cooking them is a threat. Chill the lobster for 30 mins. Bring a large pot to a boil. Thank the lobster, place it in head first, cover quickly. Eat every bit with gratitude and respect for the food chain, and learn your place in it. Read The Ominvore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan. Thanks
