Basant is Harvesting celebration festival and
every year when after harvesting it was celebrated by the farmers and now is celebrate by everyone.

Basant is celebrated in Afghanistan also the book the kite Runner explains the tradition. Although the Taliban made it illegal for some years, it is back now. It looks like a lot of fun..
