The quality of the recording aside, she has one of the most passionate voices I've ever heard. Not to mention, her singing is absolutely effortless and light, and at the same time it is exuding immense power... It's really very hard to describe. As for her interpretation of the aria - it's really not for us to judge. She truly -is- a master of her art. =)

I d i d recognize the qualitiy of her voice. It's ok, but not for opera and not for Carmen. I think Miss Villas was trying to sing Traviata in this recording. She puts coloraturas where there are non, she does't sing any piano, crescendo, etc. By the way: I've studied classical music...

Dude, what's your problem...? I agree the quality of the recording kinda sucks, but you have to be fucking deaf not to recognize the quality of her voice!... She's simply amazing, there's no denying of that!

Och ta nasza P. Violetta głos po prostu nie do opisania ale w całości niebiańska, niepowtarzalna. Już nigdy Polska i cały świat nie będą miały takiej gwiazdy jaka jest Violetta Villas

Zgadzam się, a najtrudniej jest mi się pogodzić z tym że kiedy odejdzie wielka gwiazda to robi sie programy wspomnieniowe, opowiada się o niej, przyznaje pośmiertnie ordery.Komu to i na co ??? Pytam na co?? Takie osoby trzeba chronić ,wspierać, promować za życia...MAMY W POLSCE TAKĄ GWIAZDĘ.Pani Violetta jest jedna na milion...A tak bardzo potrzebuje pomocy..Tak bardzo..
