This Melodic Rock / AOR Gem was the 1st single for Tarzen's 2nd, and last, record. It was released in 1989, produced by Stuarp Epps and mixed by Spencer Proffer (of Quiet Riot fame). The first album by Tarzen is a straight foward Hard 'N Heavy record, which is excelent. With "Madrid" the band entered the A.O.R. territory. If u're into Airrace, Lionheart, White Sister, Shy, Sangre Azul, etc, kind of music, then I'm sure you'll like Tarzen! Tarzen is: Danny Peyronel - Keyboards& Lead Singer Salvador Domínguez - Guitars and Backing vocals Michel Peyronel - Drums & Backing vocals And introducin'... Vitiko (also known as Vitico or Viticio) on the bass guitar and backing vocals. Danny is a legend himself. He was from the legendary UK band "The Heavy Metal Kids", then played with U.F.O., Blue Max and Riff before Tarzen. He also sang opera for a while in the 90's and wrote song for some artists (as Meat Loaf). Salva is another legend. He relesead his 1st solo record in 1978 and formed the awesome Spanish 80's metal band Banzai. After Tarzen he's continuing to persue his solo carrer and he is a book writer as well. Vitiko and Michel came from the first Heavy Metal band in Argentina, called Riff. After Tarzen ended, they both returned for Riff's reunion. Ralph Hood played only in Tarzen's s/t record from 1985, but he appears on my video. This italian guy was from the band "Grand Prix (which had Robin McCauley as lead singer before the M.S.G. fame)". As special guest on my video we got Dee Snider, and, of course, one of my fave bands, the Twisted Sister! The song Inmediate Obedience was written by the Peyronel brothers and S. Domínguez. There is an alternative version of "Madrid" called "Es Una Selva Ahi Fuera". Inmediate Obedience was renamed as "Romance En la Linea". "Glad All Over" as the title track and "Walls And Rivers" became "Frente Al Rio, Frente Al Muro". I would like to dedicate this one to all Tarzen members, associates, friends and, specially, the fans worldwide! I hope you all enjoy it! STAY HARD (True As Steel)!

Good song. Why this band did not reach higher? They should have been better and longer, where was the problem?I do not know, but it sounds fine.I have been cheking on the web to know about, They were not long time working together and the singer have been doing many things, but...Also the guitar player is good and many people know about Him, but did not reach a real international level,Why?I do not know,But They could have hit united.

aunque siempre preferiré a Banzai, Tarzen estaban muy bien, tenían un rollo muy David Lee Roth... supongo que la cosa era ser más internacional.
