Actually, many people did know she was intelligent, or at least that the dumb blonde act was a put-on, but that simply wasn't the focus of her career. After all, she gave many interviews, was spoken fondly of by actors and directors, and made many career moves, like quitting Fox, joining the Actor's Studio, and supporting Arthur Miller during his McCarthy trials, that demonstrated her cleverness. She also acted in a handful of dramatic films, which she usually got decent reviews for.

I think I saw a documentary on her life and death, somewhere. It might have been on youtube.

that's another theory.. that she was murdered by the service of the Kennedy Brothers.., hours before she died... Bob Kennedy passed by her house.. and she called the son of Bobby before she died.. or maybe he called her...

Yeah, wasn't there some specualtion that she was murdered? Did it have anything to do with her affair with JFK?
Everettememory (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
That's true... yesterday i was having a conversation with my sister about how she really died.. and i think she unconsciously consciously knew she was going to live or die after so many pills.. but some people also wanted her killed. |
