to tell the truth, we came to late. people who created mugen characters and stages kinda stopped because people would steal their work. now, most mugen sites have closed but its still possible to find characters without it crashing your computer.

hmm...using pcsx2 with budokai 3 and fraps screenshoots you can actually create high quality characters for mugen...too bad i dont have to power to wast time on that
