the anime was just so good once you actually connect all the sub-arcs together like the it was really meant to be...I'm reading the manga right now and I like both of them...the anime was just told in a different format than most that's why I liked it and the way the story just flows naturally in the manga is one thing I like as well

Furthermore, the story was about contrators, humans, and the world they now live in. It was about the characters ( at least in the beginning), and their stories. Not a huge overall plot. Speaking of which, I would have LOVED to see more about the other characters. More about Hei, more about Amber, more about even Saito and Kouno. Gaah, if they had extended it just a bit more before the Primrose arc, it would have been even better.

I guess I'm just used to that. I love things in episodic nature. Like Mushishi, I enjoy things like that. I wished that it hadn't tried to jam in that huge arc in the last little bit, or at least spread it out better in the other episodes. Or just kept that episode to episode story. And I just didn't enjoy the manga I guess. I've read too many shoujo similar to it, so it just grained on me.

The manga was better in my opinion. But if you want to get technical, the anime was a bit out there at times with really no true "Storyline" till the last 3 episodes. I love the anime don't get me wrong, it's probably one of my favorites

Though I admit wishing they explained things more. Here's hoping for a second season and wher they actually explain things more. But I guess it'll be hard, considering what happened to the rest of the team. :< I still baw about it.

NOW I'VE LOST IT. Also, I can understand people liking the manga, but to say it's better than the anime is just....what? I guess it's just me, but I don't enjoy my episodic senin action turning into a cliche shoujo. But, eh, to each his own I suppose.
