Hey Zina, would you mind putting out the lyrics?
eritrawit (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
listen, the point is this person who posted this video is flat out lying when they say this song is played all over bars and clubs in eritrea. this song, and almost every other tigrayan song is never played in eritrea simply because eritrean tigrinya music is ten times better. thats its. so thats my problem, we dont listen to this stuff in eritrea, so you people need to stop making stupid claims u know nothing about.

Its a simple paranoya...obviously thousands of Eritreans lisetn to Ethiopian music (which of course I see nothing wrong on it) here, where I live...in Italy...where there are a lot of eritreans, they almost listen Ethiopian music everyday. I was really surprised. But whats wrong if any nation listen to other's?? or if this song is well listend in Eritrea? Why west your time in race stuff??
eritrawit (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
yes! yekenyele haftay! awet nehafash!
eritrawit (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
lol! jealousy? oh please, tell that to the tigrayans who claim eritreans listen to thier music, knowing damn well eritrean musicans are extremely well talented and not to mention eritrean tigrinya music is just much much better. i mean, why should they claim this crap is listened to in eritrean clubs when they KNOW it isnt? also, why do ethiopian musicans copy songs by abrahamm afwereki and other famous eritrean singers? not only can you guys not write good tigrinya music, you try to steal ours.

If we consider something is some ridiclous stuff, we wouldn't kill our time arguing about it. Do we??!! So, unless you are dying of jelousy, I wouldn't have seen your bla blas here in this post. So pls go to your side...once again.

i agree with eritrawit actually being to a club in asmara, i have never heard this song till i came to America i also agree that there is no real beat like Eritrean music, its not like that plus i have never seen that kind of dancing in tigrinya.....it is totally inacurate it looks like eskista/wolita imitation plus i want to mak it clear that in Eritrea there is a difference between Tigray and Tigrinya they are 2 different tribes (this is not to be offense but truthful)
eritrawit (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
real talk, you would NEVER hear this in any place in eritrea, this kinda of tigrinya music isnt exactly the same or as nice as that in eritrea. and besides, why would we play this when we can play helen meles, wedi tukul, taniquo and elsa kidane? lol! please, whoever posted this, done lie and say we play this in eritrea, this tigrinya song has no beat,go hear tigrinya music from eritrea and see the difference!!!
