I think you guys misinterpreted me; I never said Macs were faster; they aren't, and never will be faster then most PC's. What I tried to say is that they chew up processor speed. A friend of mine has it too, but he has so many issues on his brand new top-of-the-line rig. For one thing, a game his XP system ran a game beautifully, but when he tried to run it on his Vista, it almost died. And he kept all the settings the same!!! You can't honestly tell me that Vista doesn't have issues.

Macs definantly are not better!! my computer is a last gen rig. CPU:Pentium4 GPU:GeForce 6600 2gb ram(lol upgraded orginaly 512mb) and it still runs cleaner, smoother, and overal better then a mac. and i got one thing that OSX will never have. GEARS OF WAR!!!! (also it looks beutiful, i run on max settings with low res, still looks great)

What? Thats a lot of crap right there. Vista is not slow, it's faster than XP, Vista uses your GPU for aero, which was never used normally so it doesn't effect preformance. My vista is running at 600mb with media player a browser and steam running. Vista is incredible.

I really don't agree with that; Macs are fast don't get me wrong but because of the sheer upgradabilty and scalability of windows I really think my computer is much faster than the current imacs. It just all depends on your hardware and what you put on it.

The 8400 itself is really made for a HTPC with great HD Decoding, and has a theatre chip which the GTX and Ultra Lack! The 8400GT plays the newest NFS, CoD4, Grid,Lost Planet at great settings, and even Crysis at 1024X768 at Low and Medium settings given the CPU and Ram are up to spec. It will play HL2 at 1440X900 all settings maxed out with no AA at well over 32FPS,just a few yrs back u needed a $500 GPU to run it.Even the run of the mill stuff will let you game nowadays.

The 8400 has both 256 and 512mb versions. Memory really has nothing to do with it acually, Hell before the DX10 cards, alot of the *FLAGSHIP* cards from both ATI and Nvidia had 256MB models. Like the X1950Xt Gddr3 256Mb or the 7900GT 256Mb versions. More memory means higher fps at higher resolutions. Anything below 1280X1024 really doesnt need 512Mb memory and will be fine with 256MB, even 1440X900 really doesn't benefit from 512Mb memory Unless its Crysis or Oblivion.

Not really don't get me wrong I love vista but Mac OS 10.5 is a hell of allot faster and I have both to prove it and the sad part is that I actually like vista more but Mac is faster.
