Well, The deepest place in the ocean — the Mariana Trench — is about 100 miles (160 km) southwest of Guam. The trench bottom lies 6.8 miles (11,000 m) below the sea's surface — farther below sea level than Mount Everest is above sea level. Life in the deep sea must withstand total darkness, extreme cold, and great pressure. The pressure is so extreme, that it would feel as if a steamroller was crushing you; but these creatures have adapted to it.

How Deep are these creatures?

Humanity has only explored about 1% of the deep ocean.
We know more about the moon than we do about our own ocean floors.
There is an estimated 20,000 creatures we have yet to discover, and that estimate could be way off.
There is a world we have not even explored, and its in our very own planet...

yep man has only explored less then 5% of the ocean remaining 95% of our vast biological Community of organisms. Imagine Millions of undiscovered organisms left to be discovered and awed at its beauty. I've been hooked on nature since I was young. |
