i think theyre signed to vertigo, who do have a penchant for signing bad groups (one night only, the rapture). Cant help liking this song though, although you are right about the 'faux-indie' thing. The word 'indie' shouldnt be attached to a band who's record label is a part of Universal music group should it? i'm blaming the NME and their sensationalist, self centred, cluless writers championing this new 'indie revolution'. bah humbug.

ah ha!! joe (the singer) is the ex drummer of the pipettes..i saw him in milan and also took a photo with him..he's been very sweet to me :) glad he's having success with his own band!

joe lean looks like tom cavanaugh. but he doesn't look like mik whitnall like tom cavanaugh does. and that's a good thing cos mik whitnall scares the fuck out of me sometimes. anyway i like this song.

[sigh] More of the same boring, unpleasant faux-indie sound from another crap band with a shit name who strut around acting like David Bowie just because they've managed to cobble some absolute turd of a record together. I remember when 'indie' actually meant independent, thus giving the music a slight to chance to be interesting. Unlike this. Hopefully the album will be delayed further and further until they get dropped.
