i got this camera a few days ago and it's stunning. For £600 from Jacobs Digital including the lens, it was a bargain.

The D80 is still a great camera, but the D90 is about to come out - compare them in our D90 preview at cameralabs . com.

Hello gordon, I'm ordering a D80 tonight, but i kinda wonder, is a 2gb memorycard enough? that's whats included. And I wonder, Is the d80 the right camera for me? I'm going to photo mainly Moto-cross, Ice-hockey, snowmobiling.. Pretty fast sports etc.
I'm pretty much a noob(=newbie) in these areas but I don't wanna buy a budget camera

Hi ,
I'm need a DSLR for surveillance work (Taking picture from a block away and capturing the vehicle plate / face etc). Do you think D80 with a 300mm vr will get the job done ?
Thanks,
J

hey gordon, i have had an FZ50 for over a year and have just bought a D80 first thing i notice is that the FZ50 takes a noticibly ''cleaner'' sharper photo? could it just be the lens? (18-135) or shouldent i be to worried about it?,

Nice review, good work! But please think about the volume, it's pretty absent

hey gordon, i am a big fan of cameralabs. com. i was wondering if it is true that the d80's successor (the d90 or d10, rumor has it) will be announced sometime in mid september? and i was also wondering if it will be in roughly the same price range? |
