It's likely they are referring to Charles Dance - he's fairly notorious for being difficult to work with. In interviews he comes across as smug and terribly unimpressed with everyone but himself.

I vote for Charles Dance too! Sting is one that is probably OK to work with, he comes off as too self centered to bother with anyone else. Sir John Gielgud was known for being a very, very nice man so I doubt it's him.
