The dear soul who posted this must have put his video cam in front of his telly on an evening when the atmosphere was ionised by solar flares. But isn't it heartwarming when the scots and the irish come together in song - especially when its this group of scots and irish

Beautiful tune... Shit quality in all fairness though.

I LOVE how these singers sang this beautiful song! I personaly think that this is how Mo Ghile Mear should be sung (all gaelic; slowly/sadly; etc.) Definatly one of my favorite versions (Cara Dillon's my favorite though :D) I do have to say though, I hate all of this Celtic Woman Bashing. I LOVE Celtic Woman, and they just had a different take on the song. There's nothing wrong with that. Just let it go people.

My God!!!!!! Celtic Woman is sooooooooo much better. I can't disagree that this is good, but dadaozdi, Celtic Woman is ABSOULUTEY NOT the worst version ever. Not even the worst. Look at some of the solo's that people do of this song, then make your stupid list :(

Thanks tadduncan for posting this - I just love it. I can just sit here and play along with my harp, the sound is so good it's like being there. YouTube is fantastic !

The Basics: 1. Dub it to a read/write dvd 2. Finalize the disc & pop it in the pc's dvd player 3. Use a file conversion programme and convert required file to .avi 4. Use VirtualDubMod (or similar) to correct audio/video synchronization 5. Convert fixed .avi to .mp4 and upload to You Tube.

This version is infintely better than Cletic Woman BUT I personally would recommend the version by Cara O'Dillon and Iarla O Lionaird on Youtube. It's a proper digital recording and not someone filming their tv on one hand and Cara O'Dillon is both beautiful and a lovely singer on the other. Look it up!

you're welcome... i wanted to buy a dvd of the Highland Sessions... but BBC has not, and probably will not, sell a dvd of it... so, for now, this beautiful song remains on my DVR (in broadcast quality)... does anyone know a better way to move video from a DVR to a computer? all i could think of was to use a camera (and not a high quality one at that, but im not disappointed with the audio)
