The lowest i've seen a contra bass clarinet go is to a low c (concert Bb), but i've seen contrabassoons go to a low A ( a step lower), and i don't know about tubas...sorry

The lowest note came at the end (Eb1) or Concert Db/C#1. The lowest note of a piano: A0; of a Double Bass: E1/B0. This instrument isn't far off, of the other instruments in terms of playing low.

I meant that in a positive way because it shows how loud you can play it with proper air support. But it feel strange listening to dynamic-less music...
