Cheers box of scorpions. I found this slowworm on the top of the south downs in a grassy clearing in the woods..

Brilliant footage of the slow worm, what type of habitat was it?

Adders are poisonous so really should't be touched and are illegal to keep,Smooth snakes and sand lizards are a protected secies so are definately illegal to keep or handle or disturb. not to sure about grass snakes or common lizards or slow worms but Ive always seen these creatures as wild and so my thoughts are that they should be left where they are and enjoyed in there natural habitat.

hi leelee,I filmed most of the adders on the section of forest oposite butser hill in the Queen Elizebeth country park in hampshire and the sand lizard was filmed in the new forest.I didnt see any frogs or newts up there, but have seen them in some of the wetter areas in between the downs..cheers for your comment hope this has helped.
