I actually prefer this part of the movie over 'Pruitt-Igoe'.

you know i heard from something i dont know what that recycling and doing all that is just going to make things worse and in the end God will restore all things on earth either by a miracle or destruction (a.k.a. the apocalypse)

As long as populations grow there will be an increased demand on non-renewable and renewable resources. The world is already way beyond its carrying capacity.

only if you act now!
recycle,
consume less,
be responsable.

yeah Im very interested in civilizational development. Such as the first humans and how we grew and changed to the modern space bearing species we are today. To be honest I have great hope. There's allot of work to be done but I think we're realising how precious our earth is. ps: Im not a hippy lol.

it is not "in many ways an indictment on mankind". It is in EVERY way an indictment of mankind.

This movie is in many ways an indictment on mankind. Like parasites we exploit this beautiful earth to indulge our consumer lifestyle. In the end we lose touch with who we are. Its very powerful to watch, disturbing yet compelling at the same time.

a film with great compassion for the human predicament. |
