If Silva wants to be the best, he needs to start fighting Machida, Griffin, Liddell or Rampage. I will give Silva the credit he deserves for being the best weight limit maker in the world. He always looks much bigger than his opponents at 185. That's because he makes the weight,and then gains weight back during the fight. That gives him quite a bit of weight advantage. But,it's time for him to move up and fight the real fighters.

schlaghammer, Fedor is widely regarded as the greatest MMA fighter of all time by the fans, the media and even some fighters. Fedor Emelianenko, not Wanderlei, not Nogueira, not Rickson, not Anderson, FEDOR. I'm sorry, really, but there's nothing you can do about it, it's a fatc :)

Anderson weights 230 lbs natural, he could easily fight at heavyweight (he is actually bigger than Fedor). Fedor would tool Brock Lesnar, but Anderson would get his ass kicked. Does that bothers you? :)

Schlaghammer, Once again, Fedor is right now where most of the top ranked fighters are. The org. where Fedor's greatest challenges are, specially Arlovski and Barnett. Anderson cuts massive weight to fight small guys in a weak and empty division, when he could easily fight in the most stacked and competitive division of all.

honestly Fedor fans are so up their own ass its hilarious. Come on there a bunch of guys who fought many more tougher opponents than him, Most of his big wins weren't that convincing like nogueira,cro cop,arona all decisions. He is well known heavyweight has fought a bunch of smaller guys even though his fans want to bash on anderson for, like arona, lindland,randleman,Haseman,Hasdell,Valavicious . He has even good amount of fights against guys who have fought less than 5x. Plz fedor is inflated

dariusmk, ur comments just doesnt make sense. as i said, ur stuck at 2004-, you just dont want to live 2008+, lol. and yea, one more time i agree with schlaghammer guy, hendo and wand fought and won some hws that fedor almost lost and got big troubles, like fujita and randleman. fedor would get murdered if he drops to lhw, while anderson can easily dominate the lhw.

While Fedor might regarded as the so called "greatest" i don't think his record holds up really looking at it in mma all time u probably have to go with henderson or wanderlei. Looking at who they've actually fought believe it or not a lot of the names for guys that people say Fedor has beaten ironically Hendo and wanderlei have beaten as well and are in lower weight class not to mention they have fought overall more top fighters. Sure Fedor has a nice win loss column but its a bit overhyped.
