YEA man i was around in that era remember the slogan pogo on a Nazi? Some people have the idea that skinheads where just A Hitler white power shit! love this track! No the Orig. Skins were not Nazi Hammerskin/National Front jackasses....just lower class kids who hung around pubs with Jamacians and Trinis, drinking stout and rum. A couple of them went off with Enoch Powells bullshyt, but some became anti-racist punks or Trads.

cringe now on what we wore but at the time thought it was so cool and hard,thank god it changed here first lol, i rembember going to manchester utd with everton. with short hair ,fred perry ,straight jeans and trainers and sytuck out like sore thumbs mutd still with long hair ,DM boots ,the bootboy look still ,the next year you couldnt tell the difference, the start of the so called casual had started, were did all the boot boys go

round here the bootboys started to dissapear in 1976 ,parallels and airwears being replaced by straight jeans and trainers ,, ah being a bootboy i remember those days well early to mid 70s ,fighting other gangs toe to toe, a bootboy ,which almost every estate had bootboy gangs , were similar to skinheads, but had long hair ,feather cut generally, wore wide jeans ,half mast ,cherry red or black doc marten boots , steel toe caps sometimes nebb shoes ,tank tops ,god even 3 star jumpers,
