Thanks Flans, it is pretty funny when some kind of people tell us what we should believe or not. If they had received some messages from God and the Virgin or a relative who died asking for some stuff as my mother did they wouldn't be saying that. This people can't see miracles or receive the gift of a miracle that's why they don't believe and attacks believers. God bless you.

That being said, I do love this song and the rest of Andy/OMD's music. Obviously, or I wouldn't have put so many OMD videos here. This is broken into 3 responses as it is too long to do as one.

The lyrics to the song at the time that this person appears in the video say "I don't believe in miracles, I don't believe in truth." It is pretty obvious that they are reffering to Christ when talking about miracles and truth and portraying a person wearing a crown of thorns. That is Andy's right to do and he can have his beliefs. I am fine with that. I don't have to agree with it though and that is what I am stating here.

I have taken out some of the personal attacks. I want to leave this thread here as I think it is a valid discussion but lets just keep it at that and respect each other. "Them" in this case would be OMD and the makers of this video. "Something" would be the savior of the world. Andy has gone on record at the time of this album as saying that songs from the album refute God's existence.

Why is it obvious that is is supposed to be a 'Jesus'? Who is 'them'? What is 'something'? And what is 'sacred' to you too? Although, I am not altogether interested in any medical difficulties you may have.

I completely agree. I have never liked that part of the video. I just don't like them taking something sacred to me and putting it up there as nonsense. Unless there is another person that wore a crown of thorns that also performed miracles it is pretty obvious that it is supposed to be Jesus.

No. There is insufficient detail in the video and song to justify any character of any name whatsoever. I ask you if you believe in Santa Claus(irrelevant whether he existed or not) and the Easter Bunny, as these are two of the common day irrational beliefs that are held, along with miracles as you put it in your initial message. Finally, on the matter of your first message, in which you add I do believe in Jesus, what purpose does this statement serve for this song and video?
