Well they don't actually let the embryo grow into a being, they just harvest the stem cells inside of it, so you won't actually see animal/human hybrids. It's actually more humane than the alternative - scavenging stem cells from aborted human feotuses. I'm all for this research

I mean, look, most people with Parkinsons and paralysis are all over passing this kind of thing. Morality is throw out the window in the face of desperation. Again with the hypocracy. Personally, however, I'm far more interested in the creation of the hybrids themselves. It would be quite interesting to see how that one plays out in the world. Perhaps life isn't some play-doh for the kneading. It's possible that it's sacred, but that would involve some belief structure that I just don't have. =/

I suppose it would be monstrous to not care about the lives they are creating and the value of human life, but people are hypocrites. They are cool with going against nature with cutting down forests in order to make houses and many things along those lines because they are convinient. They make life easier. When it comes to something like this that has implications that they don't appreciate, however, suddenly everyone gets all self-richeous saying "don't do this!..blah blah blah". C'mon, yall.

Scientists shouldn't be doing that to humans! It's cruel! What is going to happen to these children when they grow up? Wait till technology improves more to study incurable diseases assholes! You don't need to create human hybrids! Are the hybrids going to have civil rights? This sickens me to see science doing this to find cures for diseases! This should be against the law in every country! It is unconstitutional!

i oppose stemcell research just for the fact it's not cool to create life to end it, create embyeos there's no way to dictate whether they let it be part animal/part human, put a stop to it NOW

i'm openminded but this is disturbing.Just like itd be sick for a human to have intercourse with an animal it's disgusting to MAKE it happen scientifically. it should be banned and people doing it should do something worthwhile.

what makes it better to create life to destroy it? Just because its crossed with an animal doesn't make it better, it makes it more disturbing & evil. they don't know if it has brain movement or not.
