I would say this, just by the looks of the Alesis Micron it looks like it doesn't have as much options as a MK.
I could be wrong.

its weird i know, but i think its to do with keeping timing, cos once you have hit a key, you can sequence in in real quick, so yeah. =S

One thing that I find funny about the MicroKorg is that no matter whether or not someone is actually playing it it always looks like they're miming keys

I dont own a MicroKorg but have checked some stuff out on the internet. You can connect the MicroKorg to a computer, but you need a Midi interface in addition the the midi cables. Alternitavely you could by a 1/1 midi interface that is built in, for example the 'M Audio Uno' |
