Yeah, just like your PC, the one you used to post that comment can explode.
That is, if you overclock the CPU enough, if you're unlucky.
however, leave stuff alone and work well within the safe limits (52x is very safe, it's been used for many many years with no problems)

regardless, its fact that the CD can still potentially explode in the disc tray...Cuz i've actually seen it happen before with my own eyes back in high school.

they did it normal at first, but it was sht, so they max it and watch the crap fly all ova the place.

This is something I always hated about myth busters, they always rigged their shit to cause what they wanted to happen, not what really happens.
They never properly tested any of their "myths"
