its a good card but i have been having a bit of trouble with a comaple sound driver on Xp Home edition , bad tested everything but now i am on vista 64bit and runs smooth. good card

to any fellow owners....
Anyone have uGURU lockup windows (xpsp2) as soon as you touch the CPU clock spped slider in ANY manner ?

id wait before getting any 4870X2s, there maybe a 5000 series or higher until the new cpu's come out, iv just oredered a Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200, seen reveiws and pictures that it can be overclocked to 4Ghz and higher on air. go nicly with the p35 gigabyte mobo iv got and a thermaltake big typhoon cooler :p

Im not so sure, those Shanghais are looking mighty fine to me, and I'm willing to bet with a shanghai and a pair of 4870X2s, they'll talk to each other much nicer :)

lol yeah LGA1366 on the Nehalem Architecture, would be nice tho, true OctoCore processors on a skulltrail mark II or something :P, id deffinetly save up for one of thos :P

Probably not... Any octocore will be on the new LGA715 "socket" rather than the current LGA775 used by the Skulltrail. They'll probably bring out some sort of "Skulltrail II" with the new sockets.
