couldn't say it better.

At least phrase your sentences properly then. 'Women' is a collective term so to say 'Women do diss other women' implies that all women do. It should rather read 'A small minority of women'
"I guess you figure if you post enough times it'll get people whom disagree to agree" - I could say the same for you.
I won't start on Christianity, that's a lost cause.
I will say that I'm a feminist and proud of it. I don't hate men, but we are far from equal, especially in non-western countries.

I am sorry it came across as if I was strictly trying to say you are wrong and get you to agree with me. I was not.
Are you being defensive?
How old are you?
Why?
Your view point intrigues me. Evidently I do not agree with a good portion of it. I am just trying to get you to look at it.

I guess you figure if you post enough times it'll get people whom disagree to agree with you. I don't care what other people think and how other people feel about my views if it is what I believe. There are happenings to back up my views.
I'm not saying "man good, woman bad" but I am saying that both men and women need to be called on their crimes. You assume too much. When I say "us" I mean the people that have views similar to my own. Just cause I don't agree with you doesn't make me wrong.

-you are not suppose to take it seriously"
I will acknowledge the comment about women expecting diamond engagement rings. Most do and it is silly.
(In my opinion so are those huge diamond earrings some men wear.)
I am only responding to you because you come across as if you have never interacted with a woman before. You are speaking of them as if they are some foreign enemy.
What is being "a man"? Do you mean biologically or in a another sense?
blooddrivendream (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Yes, there is the danger that if a woman in charge screws up it will be specially noted that she is a women. And when a man in charge screws up it will be referred to as "human" error.
You say "us" as if all men are unified with you--I really do not think they are.
"wimpifed"????
I appreciate men. I appreciate women. I appreciate those who fall outside the binary. The huge emphasis on gender roles is no longer fitting to modern society. "It is called a role becuase you are not s

I agree that the view presented by the women here is narrow as well. How are women more spiritual?
I was not calling a foul for any gender's team I was only specifically calling your foul.
Popadibs (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I know why women don't vote for women. They know that the crap that men do are human traits and if women were in charge then when things got screwed up we'd be blaming it on women.
Women just want to continue to blame men and pretend they'd do better and until women are in charge they won't be able to prove us wrong.
By the time "women take charge" guys will be too wimpified to actually say anything if women did do wrong though. By then it'll be illegal to be a man probably.
Popadibs (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Although what the women said were positive their views were also narrow of women?
Where did it come from?
We know plenty of women who care more about gaining income than the lives they wreck in the process. Women and men are diverse but women saying that women are "more spiritual" is also a narrow view.
When you call foul, call it on both teams, thank you.

Women don't diss women about their breasts not being big enough?
Women do diss other women with bigger breast sizes claiming that they are sluts. If I show you video examples you'll say "not all women are like that".
Of course, blooddrivedream pointed out examples of women that cared more about lives than diamonds but "not all women are like that" neither.
What ever, keep your "spirituality" and I'll keep my trust in Christ. Christ is more valuable than any woman's spirituality. |
