I also think Maharishi University of Management is a special place. Sounds like you are glad you learned the Transcendental Meditation technique. I also have been happy with my practice; Ive been practicing for 36 years now. The main thing is how you feel during the day, how regular practice helps you think clearly and be healthy. You have added something great to your life, and it was fun to view your video David Orme-Johnson has a good site on TM.

Just a heads up to anyone who thinks the TM mantra is a meaningless sound - it isn't. You are being lied to if the TM org. is telling you that. They also lie if they say your mantra is unique - it isn't. The mantras are names of Hindu gods and they use a just a handful of them. Save your money and learn The Relaxation Response from the book of that title written by Herbert Benson if you want the same result as TM. The TMO is a money grubbing organization that will suck your wallet dry.

Ok thanks man, it was kinda bugging me :)

You're just suppose to do it "in your own time." It's not suppose to match the breath or anything (if it does that's OK too). You just do it at a regular pace and let whatever happens happen.

Hey nice vid, I learned TM a while ago but cant decide where to say my mantra, ie; on the in-breath, on the out-breath or just in my own time... if you dont mind me asking, where are we supposed to say it?

"Do you really believe in levitation??"
I'll be believe it when I see it. ;)
I never said anything about having pains in my head. And I've tried a number of different meditation techniques and this is the one I've enjoyed the most so far. Perhaps you could give me an example (name) of some other mediation techniques that are similar to TM. I believe I've already found one and I posted the link on the side. I know some people haven't been happy with their TM experience, but I have. :)

I have provided you with all that you will learn in a TM course except for the reinforcement or conditioning techniques. |
